    … and you’re all welcome to patronize this fine establishment, but unfortunately Kelly and I cannot join. Kelly’s Dad has taken a drastic turn for the worse, we’ve spent the past two days in O’Fallon, and intend to stay there as much as possible.

    So much for impromptu gatherings.
